Выучим песню

1.       What is your name? What is your name?
Can you tell me: What is your name?
My name is Alec, my name is Alec,
You won’t forget it, my dear friend.

2.       How old are you, how old are you,
Can you tell me, how old are you?
I am to seven, I am to seven,
Aren’t you older, my dear  friend.

3.       Where do you live, where do you live?
Can you tell me, where do you live?
I live in London, sometimes in Oxford,

Sometimes in Cambridge, my dear friend.

Plans for the weekend

1.     – My cousin is coming to stay tomorrow. Would you like to meet him?

-         Yes, that’ll be nice.

-         Let’s meet up at the weekend.

-         Great! What about going to that new club on Friday?

-         No, I’d rather not go there. The music is really loud and you can’t talk. I don’t like dancing much either. Do you fancy going bowling?

-         Good idea. We could have something to eat there too. Shall we meet at six?

-         Ah, I can’t make it then because of that dentist appointment. Maybe half seven?

-         Brilliant. See you outside the bowling club at seven - thirty then.

-         Okay, see you then.

-         Bye!

Let's talk about protecting animals!

Learn the dialogue:

  1. – Can I ask you some questions about your work protecting cats, Judy?

-          Sure! No problem!

-          To start with, can you tell me when you started the cat protection group?

-          Well, there were a lot of stray cats in the streets, cats with no homes, I had to do something.

-          Where do you keep them?

-          I’ve got six at home and twenty at my aunt’s.

-          What do you mean exactly, in her house?

-          No, she’s got a farm. They live outside.

-          How do you get money to pay for food and vet’s bills?

-          We sell stuff.

-          Can you explain that?

-          What I mean is people give us things like second hand clothes and we sell them at the market.

-          That’s great! Thanks, Judy

Would you like something to eat? (Learn the dialogue)

1.     – Hello, what would you like to eat?

-         Can I have a burger and chips, please? And a yoghurt too, please.

-         And I’d love a hot dog, please.

-         What would you like to drink?

-         A cola for me, please.

-         The same for me please.

-         Is that all?

-         Yes, thanks.
